The Centre for Thriving Places is a small charity with a big vision, to improve everyone‘s chances of living a good life. Our innovative work on economics and wellbeing influences people and places throughout the UK, consistently drawing national and international attention. We need to recruit a first class replacement for our first class Treasurer, who retires at the end of a three-year stint at the end of April.
We need a friendly mentor with detailed knowledge of financial rules and processes to help us make all the right calls. You’ll be a sounding board for budgets, an authority for large spends, a point of reference for our accountants and a strong support to the executive as they negotiate good times and challenges alike.
You’ll be joining a highly experienced board of trustees with skills and expertise in law, data analytics, enterprise, communications and public service. They are all action-oriented knowledge-seekers with a desire to challenge ‘business as usual’ with something better. Are you the one to help us raise the game to a new level?
Trustees general responsibilities are outlined here – click here for the Treasurer’s specific duties. If you are interested in the position and would like to know more please email hello@centreforthrivingplaces.org to arrange an informal chat.
