A thoughtful piece about Happy City’s work has just been published by El Mundo in Spain. With a circulation of around 150,000 copies, El Mundo is the second largest newspaper in the country. Carlos Fresneda, the paper’s foreign correspondent based in London visited Bristol several times during 2015, conducting extensive interviews about the city and what makes it tick.
His interest was initially captured by Bristol’s triumph in the European Green Capital competition. It was quickly clear Happy City was an important and pervasive influence, from the original pitch to almost every different community of interest. Here’s a link to the article he penned.
