The Happiness Hub has just received a facelift – we’ve retired a few weary-looking tables, and been given some lovely new chairs and desks from some friends elsewhere in the city. Smack in the middle of the thriving Bristol city centre, The Happiness Hub is a great-value workspace already home to a number of social enterprises and individuals working within wellbeing and happiness industries. Whilst the activities of our current tenants vary greatly, the common thread is that everyone involved at The Happiness Hub are working towards more than just profit. This office is far more than simply a place to clock in for the 9-to-5 grind – those drawn to the Happiness Hub are invariably people working to create positive changes in the world around them. The result is a genuinely friendly co-operative workplace based upon common goals, one that encourages an environment of mutual support and helps form connections between like-minded people.

As current tenant Rich of Equilibrium Markets describes, “this office is called The
Happiness Hub for a reason; it’s filled with wonderful people, who are bound together by a sense of purpose to drive positive change be that for their charity, their business or as sole traders.” This sense of common community is also picked up on by James Picardo from Red Thread, who tells us that “I enjoy the feeling of being supported by peers in similar situations to myself. I like working with people who share my values, even if they are working in very different fields.”

Not only does the space here enjoy a uniquely collaborative atmosphere, the flexibility of the space means that you can be part of the The Happiness Hub however suits you best. Whether you just need somewhere in the city for a single day per week, or if you’d like a permanent space on our brand new desks for the full Monday-Friday, we can find the arrangement to make it work for your project. The result, Rich says, is “an atmosphere of dedication, support and creativity wrapped up with all the resources you need.”

The office’s great location is something else enjoyed by our tenants, as Jenna from EML explains. “The area is great – right next to the waterfront, a short walk from the station and, most importantly for someone who is obsessed with food (me!) just a couple of minutes walk from St Nick’s markets!”. Tenants at The Happiness Hub also benefit from free use of a shared communal area, a kitchenette, and a private meeting room bookable via our online portal.
