On 26th January, Happy City will be co-hosting an action-oriented problem solving event about wellbeing in the workplace with Watershed. The session (which lasts from 12:30-5pm) allows people to explore their own key opportunities, challenges or questions with their peers.
Below, we’ve listed some of the ‘hot’ topics from last year – to get us off to the most productive start, we’re seeking views on your highest priorities for workplace wellbeing in 2017. We’d like you to pick your top 3 or make your alternative suggestions by either visiting the poll on Facebook here, Linkedin here, or meetup here or by emailing mike@happycity.org.uk
– Stress management
– ‘Leaveism’ (people working while on holiday or ill)
– Work-life balance tools
– Wellness programmes
– Workplace design
– business case for wellbeing
– wellbeing perks & rewards
– mindfulness in work
– Embedding the 5 Ways of Wellbeing
– Wellbeing measures
The event itself will suit HR professionals, managers and business owners who are keen to explore the ‘learning edges’ of Wellbeing in the Workplace with people who share your interests. We’ll briefly hear an outline of three fascinating approaches to the subject, including:
Watershed – on the ecology of wellbeing
Alemda – on personal/professional growth
Happy City – on wellbeing measures & optimal happiness
Then the bulk of the afternoon is designed to allow participants to control their own agenda and seek out what they need to help each other address the challenges or opportunities most important to them. By gearing the event to the sharing of best practice, we aim to ensure everybody will leave with something they can start to apply in their workplace the next day. Register for your place here today!
Currently, stress management, workplace design and mindfulness are top of the poll – we look forward to hearing your views.
